The European Space Agency (ESA) decided on a faster, more productive assembly method motivated by international competition. As a result, a new launch pad is required and work is in full swing. Conductix-Wampfler was selected to provide MAG Drive BNA 47 motorized cable reels for the project.

In 2016, Montréal Gateway Terminals (MGT) successfully tested two converted Liebherr “E-RTGs” powered by Conductix-Wampfler’s “Drive-in L” conductor rail system.  As a result they recently ordered 10 new Liebherr E-RTGs, also to be powered with the Drive-in L.

CAP - Cable Auto Plug-In for E-RTGs
